Returning sensation Emma Raducanu revealed her top priorities heading into the next part of the tournaments. What may seem like a disappointing start to the year turned out in the right direction for the Brit.
After almost eight months off the court, Raducanu returned with a different mindset, the one to perfect her form and improve her game. Though she lost in some early rounds at the start of 2024, the Brit has shown a wonderful display of skill. Raducanu could not cross the second round of all the tournaments she had played in but was working toward her goal of improving herself.

The 21-year-old is on her way to becoming a better tennis player. She has only won three matches in 2024 but is hoping to do better after a fatigued start in December. Moreover, she now returns to the Indian Wells, where she has had previous success.

Emma Raducanu returns to the Indian Wells among all the memories of her last outing in California. After a good run at the Wells, the Brit found out that she had to get surgeries done on both her wrists, so started her surgery and recovery. She lost in the fourth round to Iga Swiatek and soon announced to undergo surgery.
Now, the former US Open winner returns exactly a year later to face Rebeka Masarova in the first round. Many eyes will be on the youngster to perform better than her previous performances and surpass the second-round curse. Furthermore, Raducanu might get a chance to play for the upcoming Billie Jean King, depending on her performances in the US.

She revealed that it is likely for her to get a chance, depending on the WTA tournament in Stuttgart right after. The qualifying round will start in April, and if lucky, the Brit may be back on the team, playing for her country after a year.
