It has been confirmed that Amazon Prime will be releasing a documentary that shows the final moment of Roger Federer’s professional career. While the official announcement is yet to be made, reports have confirmed that the documentary will be released in July, and Roger Federer fans cannot keep calm.

The Roger Federer documentary which has not been given a title yet is described by Prime Video as “an intimate follow-along through the final 12 days of Roger Federer’s illustrious career”.

Originally a home video never intended for public viewing, the film captures Federer at his most vulnerable and candid self, as he says goodbye to a game and the fans that shaped his life for the last two decades.The Amazon Prime description reads
The film is directed by Asif Kapadia, Oscar and BAFTA winner for Amy Winehouse documentary “Amy” (2015), BAFTA winners “Senna” (2010) and “The Warrior” (2001) and “Diego Maradona” (2019). It is co-directed by Joe Sabia (Vogue’s “73 Questions” franchise).
Presented by Prime Video, the Federer documentary is a Lafcadia Productions production. The film was produced by Lafcadia principal Kapadia and George Chignell. The release date for the same has not been confirmed yet. However, it is expected to be released in July.
The documentary will show the last few days of Roger Federer’s professional career. It will show Federer at his candid best and also dive deep into his personal life.
