The broadcasting giant has diverted its attention to the world of sports. Owing to this, it has started broadcasting various sports such as tennis, golf, etc.
Netflix is all set to live stream the exhibition match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz in Las Vegas on March 3rd, colloquially called the ‘Netflix Slam’.
The event will take place at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The event will be hosted by MGM Sports.
On February 16, 2024, Netflix released the trailer for the much-anticipated match between two high-performing Spaniards.
However, Rafa hasn’t been able to spend much time in court in the past 15 months or so owing to his persistent injuries. Thus, it will be interesting to see how he fares against in-form World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.
The two Spaniards have met each other three times across all competitions until now. The 22-time Grand Slam title winner has the lead with two wins. However, in the last meetup between the two at the Madrid Open, the 20-year-old clinched the win.
