Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas played a heated match in the third round of the Wimbledon 2022. Both the players accused each other of violating rules and unsportsmanlike behavior on the court. In this match, Nick Kyrgios defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6. However, the controversy did not die down in the match but even continued in the press conference.

Tsitsipas had branded Kyrgios as “a bully” after the match. Their banter continued off-court as both the players did not let the fire that ignited in the match ever die down. And now to have both the players as doubles pair came as a shock for many. Many were also amused.

Eminent sports journalist Jose Morgado could not hide his excitement.

Many social media users commented on how both the players looked off-sync during the match. The relationship between the two is frosty and it was visible. They neither speak nor met eye to eye as doubles partners do during the match and the break. Many users also pointed out the money angle of it.
