As the British tennis star, Emma Raducanu is awaiting a solid comeback to the sport in the upcoming 2024 season, she just recently took some time out of her training schedule to pose for a magazine cover.

The 2021 US Open champion posed for the cover of the Tatler Hong Kong Magazine. She graced the cover wearing a beautiful black outfit. However, fans did not seem to take this move by the Brit in a positive manner as many tennis fans and followers criticised her for not treating tennis as her priority. The fans took a dig at her for being missing from action for a long time, one of the fans commented.

Emma Raducanu will be looking to make a solid comeback in the next season as she is spending a lot of time preparing to compete once again at the highest level. She has been absent from the tennis courts for a long time due to a serious injury that kept her out of most of the tournaments in the 2023 season. She has not achieved much since winning the US Open in 2021 by defeating Canadian, Leylah Fernandez. The British professional will play at the Australian Open qualifiers.

The former World No.10 has time and again talked about how winning the US Open has proved to have a negative influence on her mental health as she feels the burden of expectations of a lot of people all over the world ever since. Although she has not won any title after her stunning win at the Flushing Meadows, the British is still one of the highest-paid athletes this year, sixth in the world to be accurate. It is surprising how she has earned around 12.1 million dollars this year by spending more time off the tennis court.

A look at the 2023 season of Emma Raducanu

This year was not so great for the British tennis player as she started the year by withdrawing from the Auckland Open early due to a knee injury. However, her injuries seemed to cause trouble for her ever since then as she failed to reach the important stages of any of the major tournament sin this year. Eventually, she fell out of the top 100 rankings as well which proved to be a huge setback for her.

However, fans have not responded well to the Brit’s posing for a magazine cover as they feel she is spending more time on the glamour and public relations side of things rather than concentrating on a solid return to the sport.
