The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and International Tennis Integrity Association (ITIA) face heavy backlash from fans who are unhappy with how the organizations treat their players and continue ruining the careers of innocent tennis stars.

Tara Moore, a British tennis player, was recently cleared of all doping charges after 19 long months. A player who has yet to show her best to the world was snatched some valuable time from her life by the organizations for something she never did.

She was banned after the WTA supposedly found a prohibited substance in her, and after a long wait, they revoked their ban, allowing the player to continue her career, which would take time to rebuild.

The 19-month wait was not easy for the 31-year-old, who not only lost form and age but also his reputation and livelihood. Fans are behind the tennis star and are also firing shots at the organizations for the kind of treatment they are giving the players.

Barbara Gatica also gets cleared of suspension along with Tara Moore

The whole tennis community saw that the WTA and ITIA take back their statements of issuing a ban on Tara Moore and Barbara Gatica. The two are now cleared of all charges and will return to court in 2024.

While Tara was wrongly accused of doping, Gatica had an elaborate case in her name. The Chilean was accused of match-fixing and was rightfully accused of losing a match on purpose.

Other than this, she had two more accusations in her name, and the ban was extended to 2025, which was cleared, and she was allowed to play a year earlier.

Now, the WTA and ITIA are yet to decide the future of tennis star Simona Halep, who is also currently facing a ban from the past year due to her ban. Even the Romanian has been on rest, and as the ban continues, her age increases, not allowing her to play to the fullest in the future.

She has appealed to the court, and her career depends on the decisions of the organizations, but time has passed, and the Romanian will invest more time to regain her form.
