The Canadian World No.12 Felix Auger-Aliassime is on an unprecedented downfall in his young career. As he lost in the opening round against the unseeded Australian Player Max Purcell in his home tournament- Canadian Open, the young star is looking for some major changes in his coaching team. As he told in the press conference later, there might be changes happening in his team soon.
As Felix said with definite tones of frustration on his poor runs, “I don’t think the solution is there. I have the same people who brought me there last year. We are all in solution mode internally to see how I can play better. But the main culprit is me.”
Felix Auger Aliassime has not been the same player since his quarter-final loss against Spanish World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz in Indian Wells. Post that tournament, Felix was not even able to win two consecutive rounds in a tournament at all. This includes losses in the first round of the French Open and the second round of Wimbledon as well.

The epic battles lost against Daniil Medvedev in the Australian Open 2022 and Rafael Nadal in the French Open 2022 are the highlights of his career until now. The hype was really high for the Canadian last year due to the performances on the court. He was expected to reach even higher heights this year like the Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz.
The young gun is only 23 years old. So there is still a lot of time for him to be back on top. The tennis world is looking forward to seeing him back at his best in the coming months, with or without Toni Nadal by his side.
