“For a good car, I’m still fighting” Carlos Alcaraz opens up on ‘requiring permissions’ at home as a regular teenager

Carlos Alcaraz
Carlos Alcaraz is the new sensation of 2022. The 18-year-old Spaniard has created an achievement by winning three titles in the year and is aiming for his first Grand Slam at the upcoming 2022 French Open this year.
In a recent interview, world no. 9 revealed his other life outside of the tennis court. The Spaniard said in a television program interview and talked about his life off the court and how much influence does his parents have in his decisions when it comes to getting things given he is taking home massive paycheques from winning matches at the highest level on the Tour.
He said, “Obviously, my parents control the money for me. To buy some golf clubs, which I love, I don’t ask permission, but for a good car, yes. I’m still fighting it. My father is tougher and my mother is less, so to go out and those things I tell my mother. I don’t have time as such, but they always tell me ‘don’t be late’. As much as I try not to make any noise when I get home, they always wake up and catch me.”
Carlos Alcaraz and his journey so far

The 18-year-old teen sensation has won 23 of his 26 matches this year. The Spaniard started off by winning his Rio Open and then marching on to claim the Miami Open. His third title came when he recently won the Barcelona Open and he is one of the heavy favourites to win the Madrid Open too.
The Spaniard will next face Fabio Fognini or Nikoloz Basilashvili and we hope that he crosses that trouble and plays his level best on the ground. There is a possibility that Alcaraz will face his idol Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Madrid Masters, which will be one of the key highlights of the season.
