The renowned American tennis player, Frances Tiafoe, has recently made hilarious comments on the rising popularity of the sport Pickleball. It is a game consisting of a mixture of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton and has been gaining popularity with time. However, the American is not impressed with its rising popularity, and in a recent press conference, he made his feelings clear about the sport.

The World No.10 has said that he doesn’t quite understand what pickleball is and what all the hype about the sport is. “Pickleball is what it is. The hype around it is crazy,” said Tiafoe. He also mentioned that the business part of the sport is great, but he just can’t seem to understand the hype around the sport. He also questioned the difficulty of the sport by saying, “I don’t think it’s a very difficult sport or great sport at all.”

With an increasing number of people investing in the sport, the business side is booming, as Tiafoe mentioned. He finds it crazy how a fun game can be called a sport. He said, “If we’re casually playing and having drinks and whatever, having fun, but to call it a sport, sport, it’s crazy to me.”
