Serena Williams, the 40-year-old American professional is undoubtedly the greatest female tennis player of all time, with 23 grand slam titles to her name, Serena has successfully made her way among the all-time greats of the sport and the American sits at the top as the greatest player of all time.
Serena recently announced her retirement from professionally playing tennis, the news of which left loads of fans around the world heartbroken and emotional, Serena announced that she would be retiring from the sport after competing at the ongoing US Open, the American professional was eliminated in the third round of the tournament.

Frances Tiafoe, the 24-year-old American professional did the unthinkable last night as he eliminated 22-time grand slam champion, Rafael Nadal from the US Open in the round of 16 fixture of the tournament, Tiafoe was not the favorite going into the match but the American dispatched of Nadal in over four sets and clinched the victory.
One of the highlights of the game was when Frances Tiafoe was seen wearing a hoodie that paid a tribute to the retiring American legend Serena Williams, much like most of the world, Tiafoe is yet another Serena Williams fan that was evident as the hoodie he wore listed all of Serena Williams’ achievement in the grand slams that she had won over the course of her career.
Tiafoe managed to beat Nadal and make his way to the quarter-finals of the US Open where he will be facing Andrey Rublev, Serena Williams on the other hand started off her campaign with a bang as she beat Danka Kovinic and Anett Kontaveit in the first two rounds of the tournament but her dream of going all the way were cut short when she Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round.
Tomljanovic proved to be too much for Williams as she was eliminated from the US Open and seemingly retire from professionally playing tennis.
