American tennis ace Frances Tiafoe‘s second-round match at the Delray Beach Open, against Radu Albot had an interesting ‘best seat in the house’ as a couple was made to sit in a car parked near the court. While the idea was purely for sponsorship purposes, fans did not like it at all. They called out the organizers for such an awful idea.

A user also pointed out how uncomfortable those best seats in the house are. They said that it was derogatory to the fans as they are asked to sit in a parked car on a tennis court.

I can’t think of a more American (derogatory), dystopian tennis experience than watching a match from the confines of a BMW car parked in one corner of the court lol
Tennis author Bastien Fachan wrote on X while sharing the pictures of the couple sitting in car.

Other fans also agreed to it, saying it was an awful idea. They took sly digs at the organizers saying it happens only in America. Check out the different reactions below.

Frances Tiafoe reaches semifinal, eyeing first title of the season

Tiafoe beat Radu Albot in straight sets, but had to fight it out in the tiebreaker. Nevertheless, he did beat the Moldovan tennis player. In his second match, the quarterfinals, Tiafoe beat Flavio Cobolli in straight sets of 6-4, 6-2.

The American ace won 23 of his 29 first-serve points and was rock solid from the baseline to collect back-to-back match wins for the first time since Vienna last year. Tiafoe’s 68-minute victory also ended his five-match skid in tour-level quarter-finals.

Overall, I thought I played well. I thought I served much better today. He's played a lot of matches going through qualies, so I definitely wanted to get on him early and make it tough for him. I'm really happy with my performance today and I'm excited for tomorrow.

Tiafoe will now meet Tommy Paul in the semifinals. It is to be seen if Tiafoe can land his first title of the season or if he has to wait further.
