2nd Grand Slam of the season, the French Open 2022 is around the corner. The players have started preparing for the event with a few preparatory tournaments ahead of it. The Roland Garros would mark the end of a clay-court season.

There were many ups and downs throughout the journey, the start of the year saw many controversies, the biggest was about World No.1 Novak Djokovic. The event is still one of the most awaited tournaments of the season and players across the globe aim to win the Grand Slam title. The French Open authorities have announced the final payout structure and prize money for the tournament.

Novak Djokovic will enter the tournament as the top seed and the defending champion while Barbora Krejcikova will the defending champion on the women’s side. Iga Swiatek will enter as the top seed and an overwhelming favorite to win her second French Open title. 13-time champion Rafael Nadal will be seeded 5th while teenage sensation Carlos Alcaraz will also enter the tournament as one of the hot favorites.
