Men’s Singles Draw Preview
First Quarter
Carlos Alcaraz opens the draw awaiting a lucky loser. 5th seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas is one of the biggest names in the quarter with the Greek being a former finalist. Young guns Felix Auger-Aliassime, Sebastian Korda, Cameron Norrie, Lorenzo Musetti, and Denis Shapovalov also feature in the mix. With a few qualifiers yet to make their place in the quarter, it certainly looks like a young and raw quarter that can produce some excellent matches.
First Quarterfinal Prediction: Carlos Alcaraz vs Stefanos Tsitsipas
Second Quarter
Two-time champion Novak Djokovic opens the quarter with a match against Aleksandar Kovacevic. Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov, and Hubert Hurkacz are the big names joining the Serb great in the quarter. Former champ Stan Wawrinka also features in the draw looking to go out with a bang.
Second Quarterfinal Prediction: Novak Djokovic vs Andrey Rublev
Third Quarter
Sixth-seeded Holger Rune opens the draw with a clash against Christopher Eubanks. Fourth-seeded Casper Ruud, the finalist last year, awaits a lucky loser. The quarter sees names like Taylor Fritz, Gael Monfils, and Tommy Paul in what looks to be one of the simple mix among the other quarters featuring heavyweights.
Third Quarterfinal Prediction: Holger Rune vs Casper Ruud
Fourth Quarter
Jannik SInner, Alexander Zverev, Frances Tiafoe, Borna Coric, Daniil Medvedev, Dominic Thiem, and Grigor Dimitrov are the few names featuring in possibly the heaviest quarter of the draw. Individual match-ups followed by potential clashes make it one of the most exciting quarters before the business end of the Major.

Semifinals
Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic look the possible winners from their respective quarter-final matches. Tsitsipas has not been in his best clay form dropping his chances. Meanwhile, Rublev has been fairly consistent but Djokovic in the best-of-five format is a different beast and won’t be easy to tame for the Russian.
Ruud has been inconsistent making Rune the favorite between them. Medvedev has for sure unlocked the ‘Clayvedev’ version but Sinner looks the better player among them in a best-of-five format at the Roland Garros. Upsets can certainly take place but Sinner doesn’t look the one to concede an upset so late.
French Open Final: Novak Djokovic vs Jannik Sinner
Final
Novak Djokovic always looks like the favorite at Grand Slam events and should be able to deal with Carlos Alcaraz. The motivation of a record-breaking 23rd Major at arch-rival Nadal’s favorite ground should keep him up at night planning his game. Meanwhile, Holger Rune and Jannik Sinner can set up another clash between them extending their rivalry but it seems Rune will run away towards the finals.
Sinner and Djokovic in the finals will however look like a one-sided match on paper for the Serb. A two-time champion in Paris during Nadal’s reign is no joke. Rune, on the other hand, could play in just his first Major final and would find it difficult to get past Djokovic in his first attempt at a Major final.
