Spanish-Venezuelan tennis star Garbine Muguruza recently stole the spotlight at the San Sebastian International Film Festival with her fiance Arthur Borges. Muguruza wore a beautiful Dior outfit with a mini hand purse and matching rind to steal the show. Her fiance, on the other hand, wore a simple brown suit and the couple looked flawless. 

The San Sebastian Festival 2023 took place in Spain and went on from September 22 to September 30. Muguruza and her fiance were spotted attending the closing gala of the festival on Saturday, i.e., on the very final day. 

The Festival bore witness to a number of brilliant events, one of which was the ’The Rye Horn’ winning the Golden Shell. It became the first film directed by a female Spanish director to win the said award. 

Muguruza is currently not an active tennis player but has had her fair share of great achievements throughout her career. She is currently 29 years old and has represented Spain twice at the Olympics. She had a career-high ranking of World No. 1, which tells a lot about her talent and potential. Moreover, she has two Grand Slam titles to her name. The last major tournament that she played in was the 2023 Australian Open where she suffered a defeat against Elise Mertens.

Garbine Muguruza’s current relationship status 

Garbine Muguruza is currently engaged to his fiance Arthur Borges and it is with him that she attended the San Sebastian Festival in Spain. The couple plan to get married next year and thus Garbine’s break from tennis seems justified as she is looking forward to starting a family with her future husband.

The two have been dating since 2021. She met Arthur in the most miraculous way in New York’s Central Park. Arthur Borges is the director of Made to Measure North America at Tom Ford, according to his LinkedIn account. Not much is known about him apart from the fact that he is the ex-husband of Finnish figure skater Kiira Korpi.
