“Get well soon Sacha” Novak Djokovic wishes Alexander Zverev a speedy recovery from the excruciating foot injury

Novak Djokovic shared a message for his fellow friend and opponent Alexander Zverev who faced an extremely devastating injury during the Semi-Finals of Roland Garros 2022.
The German while playing against Rafael Nadal in the Semi-finals chased a ball on his forehand and extended his right foot to slide on the clay. But due to the moisture present in the clay Zverev’s foot was stuck in the clay and his ankle completely rotated in a very uncomfortable way.
Zverev was then ruled out of the match and Nadal won the match and entered the finals. Novak Djokovic who also faced a defeat in the Quarter-finals also against Nadal was seen wishing Zverev a speedy recovery.
Djokovic and Zverev have been quite close with each other on multiple occasions. It seems the two players have each other’s back and are seen defending each other in tough situations.
Novak Djokovic hopes Sacha will recover soon
Novak Djokovic went on his Instagram page and posted a story hoping for a speedy recovery for his opponent and friend Alexander Zverev. Zverev who was seen lying in excruciating pain on the court was seen not being able to walk due to his horrific ankle injury.
The whole stadium gasped as they saw the manner in which Sacha Zverev got injured. The injury looked to be a very serious one and could take a while to heal. It is still unknown how long will the break last for Zverev.
However, he has been receiving a lot of wishes from his well-wishers including the current world No.1 Novak Djokovic. Novak Djokovic posted a picture of Zverev walking with crutches and wrote “Get Well Soon Sacha”
