24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has enjoyed immense success under the coaching of his former Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanisevic. The former world no.2 joined Djokovic’s coaching team before his 2019 Wimbledon campaign. The 36-year-old Serb has won a staggering 9 Grand Slam titles under Ivanisevic’s stewardship.

Djokovic’s satisfaction with Goran’s coaching style is evident in his salary numbers. The 2001 Wimbledon champion is embroiled in a legal battle with his former wife, Tatjana Dragovic. The former pro filed a lawsuit against her over the money and apartment that belonged to her after their divorce.

The reporting into the case led to the revelation of details regarding the salary he receives for his coaching stint with the world no.1. According to the news portal “Nacional” Ivanisevic receives between six and ten thousand euros per week from Novak. The 52-year-old also receives performance bonuses in addition to his base salary. According to sources, there’s a 10% bonus for every Grand Slam that Djokovic wins. The former Croatian no.1 can expect a huge payday this year owing to Djokovic’s 3 Grand Slam wins in addition to the 25 to 30 weeks spent on the tour.

Goran Ivanisevic has sued his ex-wife Tatjana Dragovic and her daughter Amber Marija for unlawfully taking his money which he earned before and during the marriage. Ivanisevic then also addressed the claims of domestic violence and favoritism by the court, which had been made by Tatjana.

The marriage between the couple could last only four years as the couple got divorced in 2013. Goran also transferred an apartment of 210 m2 in Dalmatinska Street in Zagreb, as well as a penthouse on Radnička Cesta of 434 m2 and 3 garage spaces.

It was believed that Tatjana and Goran ended things on good terms. It was proved when the Croatian tennis ace went to visit his ex-wife when Tatjana had a daughter with Vlah Arbulić. However, things seem to have turned bad, as Amber is demanding half of the apartment in Zagreb.
