Tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has reportedly broken off his relationship with Romanian actress Madalina Ghenea after being allegedly cheated on. The couple had been dating for the better part of the year.
Their first appearance was at the Madrid Open in May, where Ghenea was seen cheering on Dimitrov from his player box. They were spotted various times at public events and were seen vacationing together as well.
The couple had confirmed their relationship on social media where often posted about each other with romantic photos and messages. Their last appearance was at the Venice Film Festival, where the once happy couple were seen madly in love with each other.
According to sources, the Romanian actress had been allegedly involved with someone else and had been unfaithful. Rumors have been circulating for a while now. However, the rumors have now been supported by a cryptic quote that Dimitrov shared on Instagram. He wrote, “Money can’t buy loyalty,” which could be a dig at Ghenea and many fans believe that the brutal message is addressed to his alleged ex-girlfriend. (H/T: kurir.rs)
The Romanian also took to Instagram to share that she is now free and has a tendency to attract toxic people. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact both of them have unfollowed each other on social media. The two have also deleted all their photos together. However, there has been no official confirmation from either side.
While neither Dimitrov nor Ghenea has confirmed the reason for their breakup, the timing of Dimitrov’s cryptic social media post and his recent outings without Ghenea suggest that there may be some truth to the rumors.
