She started her American tour pretty badly by crashing out of the Indian Wells Masters in the first round itself. She then made it to the semi-final of the Miami Open but lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets. She then participated in the Madrid Open but lost in the final again at the hands of Ons Jabeur. She then was defeated by Iga Swiatek again in the quarter-final match of the French Open. But she was more successful in the doubles event as she made it to the final of the French Open with Coco Gauff.

She then participated in the Wimbledon but exited the tournament after the third round. She then won the CITI Open women’s doubles title with Australian Erin Routliffe. This was the fourth WTA title for the Americans this season. She then won her fifth WTA title by winning the Canadian Open again with Coco Gauff. She then was defeated by Iga Swiatek, yet again, in the quarter-final match of the US Open. She then won the San Diego Open women’s doubles title again with Coco Gauff.

In the ongoing Guadalajara Open, she defeated big names such as Elena Rybakina and Bianca Andreescu to book a quarter-final clash with fellow American Sloane Stephens.

Sloane Stephens is having a tough season. She started with participation in the Australian Open but exited after the first-round defeat at the hands of Emma Raducanu. She then won the Abierto de Guadalajara tournament. His form then took a dip and could not advance further than the first round in both the Indian Wells Masters and Miami Open. She then lost to Qinwen Zheng in the final of the Charleston Open. She then crashed out of both Madrid Open and the Italian Open in the first round itself.

She then participated in the French Open but lost to Sloane Stephens in the Quarter-final match. The American then crashed out of the Wimbledon and CITI Open in the first round.
