This year’s title was the seventh Wimbledon for Novak Djokovic which has also taken his tally of Grand slams to 21 which makes him one ahead of Roger Federer in the total no. of grand slams and one short of Rafael Nadal, with the win against Kyrgios, Novak has proved that he is coming to get the honor of being called the greatest tennis player of all time.

Novak has been getting all the praises from journalists and former tennis greats, not because of his Wimbledon triumph but also because the Serb started this year with disappointments after he was not given clearance to play in the Australian Open due to his unvaccinated status, it was nothing less than a nightmare for the player as he was among the favorites to win the tournament. Later Rafael Nadal went on to win the tournament.

Laura Robson is a British former professional tennis player. She debuted on the ITF Junior Circuit in 2007, and a year later won the Junior Wimbledon championships at the age of 14. As a junior, she also twice reached the final of the girls’ singles tournament at the Australian Open, in 2009 and 2010. She won her first tournament on the ITF Women’s Circuit in November 2008.

Speaking recently about her lack of admiration for the other two among the big-3, the silver medalist in doubles at the London Olympics claimed the Serbian’s popularity is more than that of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

“Every time I comment on one of his games, my Twitter explodes because there are so many people who are die-hard fans of him. They are dedicated. I really feel like he has a lot of fans. Compared to Nadal and Federer, they may not be as loud in stadiums, but people know them better after watching them for years. I think Djokovic has a lot of merit. He’ll probably end up being the greatest of all time, so he deserves a lot more respect.” She said
