“Our work wasn’t good enough,” Holger Rune makes an honest assessment of his combination with Boris Becker after losing to Novak Djokovic in Paris

The Danish also played remarkably well in his recent Paris Masters match against Novak Djokovic, where he lost in the third set.
I didn’t succeed in beating him so our work wasn’t good enough, so to speak. But we couldn’t expect Novak to play the same way as last time. He changed little things and that’s why he’s such a great champion. I was close, it was a great battle.

Even the greatest of all time, Novak Djokovic recognized the improvement in the youngster and credited him during the post-match interview. Novak noticed the Boris effect on Rune and credits the youngster. Fans have noticed the positive changes in Rune and will be eager to watch him play more in the future.
Holger Rune determined to make a comeback and beat Novak in Turin
In a highly electrifying game in the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters between Novak Djokovic and Holger Rune, the youngster played exceptionally well to challenge the Serb and force him to play a third set.
Unfortunately, Rune lost 7-5, 6(3)-7,6-4. While other players think over the loss, the youngster has already prepared his mind to bounce back and beat Novak at Turin.
He said:
If I compare last year’s final and this match, it was a similar fight, but I was a little bit more passive. Maybe it made me more passive, maybe It was more my fault. That’s what I’m going to have to figure out, and I hope to come back and beat him in Turin.
The ATP finals are all set to take place in Turin, and the qualified players will battle it out against each other to win the ultimate title. This is another chance for the youngster, Rune, to show his potential and try to make his comeback.
