Holger Rune has made headlines over the last few months for his constant changes in the coaching system. Right after the Australian Open, the Dane split up with the former coach of Roger Federer, Severin Luthi.
Just when one thought that Rune could not make any further changes, the Dane parted ways with his head coach, Boris Becker.
Soon, he also demoted his mother, Aneke Rune, who won’t be present in many of the tournaments. After so many changes, the 20-year-old was bound to hire a new coach.
Rune reunited with his former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, and hoped to get back to his old form with the respected coach. While many might see the bright side of this reunion, people could not overlook the allegations made against Mouratoglou.
The Frenchman was removed as a coach of Simona Halep after he publicly agreed to give Halep a substance, which unfortunately had Roxadustat that got her banned from tennis.
On top of this, his former junior player from his tennis academy admitted to being given substances. Despite all this, Rune still went back to his ex-coach, triggering many questions and comments from the fans.

The two have tasted success before, with Rune winning the 2022 Paris Masters after beating Novak Djokovic in the finals.
This was the first time that a 19-year-old beat five of the Top-10 players and likewise reached a career-high ranking of No. 4. All this was done in a short time, and despite their egoistic problems, Rune has agreed to reunite with Mouratoglou and hopes to get back to winning ways.
