Holger Rune is all prepared to win his maiden Grand Slam title in the 2024 season. After a good outing in the 2023 season, the 20-year-old Dane believes he is among the favorites to win a major title this year. Rune says that he is putting in the hard work required to win a Grand Slam title.

I believe that I am a contender to win a grand slam next year. It's going to take a lot of work, but I've sacrificed a lot and I'm trusting the process every day and coming out of my comfort zone. Every practice is physical and trying to improve mentally also so if I do better next year it won't surprise me.

The Dane said he will go for every tournament possible in the 2024 season. Rune is also looking forward to representing his country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 20-year-old says winning an Olympics medal is only second to a Grand Slam title.

[The Olympics mean] a lot, everything. With the grand slams, it's the biggest thing in tennis. It's every fourth year, so it's very rare. I think if you ask me whether I'd rather win a grand slam or the Olympics, I think I'll still say a grand slam, but the second thing I would say is the Olympics. It's a massive event.
Holger Rune says.

Notably, Holger Rune looks all set to make his Olympics debut this year. But before the multi-sporting event, Rune will target the two Grand Slam tournaments. The 2024 Australian Open is the Dane’s biggest target at the moment.
