Danish wunderkind Holger Rune was spotted with the Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic during the Monte Carlo Masters practice session in a stretched pose. The picture was shared on Twitter by the official handle of the tournament with “Crazy moment on the Court Rainier III, Holger Rune joking with Novak Djokovic” tagging both of them.

The picture was catchy just by the way it was shot itself where Rune was trying to extend his legs onto the top of the nets and Novak Djokovic makes a funny face seeing the stretch of the Danish teen. As expected, the image had enough engagements by the tennis fans around. Some people commented that the “Apprentice” is trying to learn from the “Master“.

There was a section of fans who tweeted that “Not there yet” pointing out that the stretch is not yet to the standard of Novak Djokovic. Some went a step ahead asking Rune, “Is this even a stretch.? Some were of the opinion that Djokovic looks not impressed by Rune’s stretch and that the “master” will have to teach the Kid how to do it the right way.

Holger won the title in the Stockholm Open beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straights. Then he reached the finals in the Basel Open before losing to Felix Auger Aliassime. After that, he started the 2022 Paris Masters tournament ranked as World No.18. The Danish teen will be looking to regain the charm in the coming months keeping in mind his magnificent 2022 run.

With No Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal in the Monte Carlo Masters due to injury concerns, the Danish World No.8 will be looking to play his best tennis.
