Russian tennis ace Daria Kasatkina has found an interesting way to deal with the immeasurable pressure on the tennis players competing on the tour. The 26-year-old has said that she is now trying to get back to the kids’ mentality where everything feels wonderful and amazing rather than dull and less bright. This comes hours after Serena Williams talked about invoking the inner child on Instagram.

Sometimes you just have to take a step back to childhood and enjoy the simple things.Serena Williams wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
Meanwhile, Daria Kasatkina, talking on The AO Show, emphasized the importance of turning into a kid and appreciating small things. She recalled how she used to be excited about her parents dropping her off for practice in their car and then drew a contrast with adult life where everything seems dull. Kasatkina then talked about the need to keep the inner child alive if one is to enjoy their life to the fullest.
I'm trying to get back to the kids' mentality. I now realize that when you are a kid, everything, it's more bright, everything feels amazing, unbelievable. And then as an adult, you're seeing the same things and they're not that amazing anymore. This is very sad. Like, the colors are becoming less bright. Keep this child alive, inside, is very important because this will make you enjoy life more.Daria Kasatkina said. (H/T: Austalian Open website)

Always something is not there...That's why for me it's very important to have, like, a home. To feel safe there, basically. Safe and sweet.Daria Kasatkina said about missing her home while traveling for competitons.
Notably, players including Daria Kasatkina have been complaining about the reckless scheduling of tournaments by WTA. The Russian recently spoke against the WTA for providing almost nothing to players for their survival.
Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is ready to begin her quest for the maiden Grand Slam title as she looks forward to a month of grind Down Under. Kasatkina would be hoping to go as deep as possible at the 2024 Australian Open. The Russian has struggled to qualify even for the pre-quarterfinals in eight attempts.
