Novak Djokovic is on cloud nine after his 7th Wimbledon win at the All England Club on Sunday, 10th July after defeating Nick Kyrgios. He is just one title away from equaling Roger Federer at the SW19, who has 8 Wimbledon wins to his kitty. It was a tough ride for him at the beginning of the year when he had to be deported from the Australian Open 2022 due to him not being vaccinated.

This win made him just closer to equaling Rafael Nadal‘s record of most singles Grand Slam titles. This is his first win of the season. His coach, Goran Ivanisevic claimed it as an ‘very emotional and tough year’ for them due to the backlash and various controversies they faced which erupted after the Australian Open. It literally affected them a lot and this win shut down the haters.
