Former US President Donald Trump has been involved in many controversies over the years due to his ‘staunch’ ideology and playful character. A man of his word, Trump has always been candid and hasn’t ever held himself back in any walks of his life- be it personal or professional. A few years ago, former model Amy Dorris accused Trump of sexual assault during the 1997 US Open tennis tournament.

A couple of years ago, in an exclusive interview with The Guardian, Dorris recalled how Trump rudely came up to her during the 1997 US Open and tried to sexually assault her. According to Dorris, this happened on 5 September 1997 outside the bathroom in his VIP box at Flushing Meadows.

Dorris further added that she wasn’t able to get out of his grip due to its firmness. She also revealed that she pushed his tongue out with her teeth and in the process, might’ve even hurt his tongue.

“I was in his grip, and I couldn’t get out of it,” she said. “I don’t know what you call that when you’re sticking your tongue just down someone’s throat. But I pushed it out with my teeth. I was pushing it. And I think I might have hurt his tongue.”

Later, Trump, via his lawyers denied all of Dorris’ claims and said that he never harassed, abused, or behaved improperly with Dorris. Trump was 51 at the time while Dorris was 24.
