Iga Swiatek has recently signed up to be a global ambassador for Visa. The WTA World No. 1 is the first tennis player ever to ink a deal with the company. Visa is one of the world’s biggest card-payment companies and is also the official partner in the Paris Olympics as well as at the Paralympics, in the year 2024.

As a ‘Global Ambassador’ for Visa, the Polish tennis star will be collaborating with sportspersons that are signed up with Visa ahead of the 2024 games, according to a statement by IMG (International Management Group). The Team Visa initiative by the organization helps athletes fulfill their ambitions and provides them with financial, mental, and educational resources. Up until now, the organization has provided assistance to more than 600 professional players.
