World No. 1 Iga Swiatek recently got knocked out of the ongoing Miami Open after she lost the fourth-round match against Ekaterina Alexandrova in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. A few days ago, she talked about her involvement in a game called TopSpin 2K25.
In that interview, the Pole answered questions about her being a role model to kids, the highest and lowest points of her career, pressure from the media, and also about her ultimate goal of tennis. The 22-year-old said her ultimate dream is to win all the Grand Slam titles and an Olympic gold medal as well. She also wants to be perceived by the kids as someone who inspires a lot.

It will be interesting to see if Swiatek wins an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics or not. The Paris Olympic Games get underway from July 26. And on young girls looking up to her as a role model, Swiatek said she likes to influence them so that they can achieve anything they want to.

Iga Swiatek’s father reveals how financial difficulties made her almost quit her dream
The road to becoming a top player in tennis was not easy for Iga Swiatek. She is 22 and already has four Grand Slam titles under her belt. But at one point, due to financial difficulties, she almost gave up the sport.
During a recent interview, Swiatek’s father, Tomasz Swiatek, disclosed how due to financial struggles, he told his daughter not to pursue the sport. But as he knew Swiatek was gifted, he continued to do everything to help her become a professional player. He also revealed how his daughter was restless during that difficult phase but was still obedient.

Swiatek, meanwhile, couldn’t claim a Sunshine Double as she lost the Round of 16 match in the Miami Open. In Indian Wells, she beat Maria Sakkari in straight sets 6-4, 6-0 in the final to win the title.
