Iga Swiatek is a prominent name in women’s tennis and hence the Polish ace gets enough commercial deals. But that does not mean the 22-year-old accepts any and every offer that comes her way. Swiatek has some set parameters that she considers before signing any brand deal, as revealed by the World No.1 herself.
Iga Swiatek has revealed that she has a set of values and ethos that she tries to stick to whenever she is presented with an offer. The 22-year-old also revealed that there have been nice offers that she had to turn down because they did not align with her values.
Swiatek has said that as she is a global athlete now, she gets offers from foreign countries as well. However, before signing any deal she looks out for a couple of things in them. For example, which same charities they would like to support, or if there are some shared values. If the answers are not desired, the proposal is turned down.
Now I'm a global athlete & foreign companies are also interested in me, so we can, in a sense, make a bit more tactical choices. See which of these companies would like to support at least the same charities or have the same values. And we make decisions based on this. Besides, I turned down several nice offers precisely because sometimes the values of some companies are not necessarily in line with mine.Iga Swiatek said to Grupa PZU.
Which brands does Iga Swiatek endorse?
Iga Swiatek has a handful of brand deals. The 22-year-old Pole is a hot prospect in the world of tennis and hence brands reach out to her hoping to land a deal. While she accepts some, she rejects some. As already stated above, Swiatek has rejected quite a few good offers. However, she also endorses a few top brands.
Swiatek is sponsored by Roger Federer-backed Swiss company On for clothing and shoes. She signed a deal with Tecnifiber for her rackets in 2021. Swiątek was also previously endorsed by the Red Bull energy drink company, the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, and the Lexus division of the Toyota automaker company.

Also, Swiatek announced in 2023 that she has become a global ambassador for the Polish sports drink Oshee and that she will also release a collaboration line with the brand, including her own drink flavor and bottle design.
There were three major brand deals for Swiatek in 2023 as she signed a deal with Porsche, was announced as the global brand ambassador for VISA, and was also onboarded as the global brand ambassador for Infosys alongside Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal.
