On Tuesday, March 7, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden will host the debut of a new mixed doubles format that includes the world’s top-ranked players. The event, called the 2023 Eisenhower Cup Presented By Masimo, is a Tie Break Tens competition that will take place under the lights of Stadium 2 and last for one night. Returning to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the 2023 Eisenhower Cup will feature a mixed doubles format for the first time.
The event has raised over $300,000 for local charities in the past three years. It will now showcase top-ranked players from both the ATP and WTA Tours teaming up. Players will compete in a special charity event on the eve of the main draw of the 2023 BNP Paribas Open. However, the list of players, format, and match-ups are now revealed to the fans.
However, Tommy Haas spoke on this occasion and said “We are thrilled that The Eisenhower Cup will return for a fourth time to serve as a meaningful charitable event to ring in two weeks of exciting action in Tennis Paradise.”
He continued speaking and said, “Tennis fans will be treated to the brightest stars of both tours pairing up for a fun and unique mixed doubles event, and we extend our sincerest thank you to all players for their participation in supporting this great cause.”
