Indian Wells Day 4 Preview featuring Novak Djokovic, Emma Raducanu and Hubert Hurkacz

The 2024 Indian Wells is well underway with its round of matches. After an exciting three days of the tournament, where the main draw matches took place, the draw skimmed down to the Round of 64. 

The other matches of this round are yet to be played. Featuring Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz, there are some must-watch matches for the day. California expects a full stadium as the day goes on, nearing Djokovic’s game. 

On the women’s side, Aryna Sabalenka started her tournament along with Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula. Their side of the draw also features a couple of returning players like Emma Raducanu and Naomi Osaka, who look to get back to winning ways.

Emma Raducanu Vs. Dayana Yastremska

This is one of the first clash-ups to look out for, as the returning star Raducanu takes on the experience of Yastremska.

The Brit hasn’t won a second round so far and is desperate for a win. However, she is up against an in-form player who has done well previously. A must-watch matchup that is sure to draw the attention of many.

Jessica Pegula Vs. Anna Blinkova

Another star matchup of the day is between two players, who are searching for wins. Jessica Pegula takes on Russian Anna Blinkova.

The Russian caused a major upset at the Australian Open but has not won many matches after that. These two have faced each other previously, where Pegula came out on top. An exciting rematch is on the lookout, as the fans eagerly await the clash.

Holger Rune Vs. Milos Raonic 

Danish pro Holger Rune returns on tour with a new coach. He takes on an exciting contender in the form of Milos Raonic.

Both the players are in search of wins, as they aim to run deep in the tournament. However, anyone might come out on top with the draw being very open.

Hubert Hurkacz Vs. Gael Monfils

One of the most awaited clash-ups of the tournament is towards the end of the day. It is between the Pole Hubert Hurkacz and the in-form Gael Monfils.

After securing a first-round victory, Monfils looks to continue the form but is against one of the strongest servers in the game. It is predicted to be a full house, as the fans would get in numbers for the match.

Along with these matches, even World No. 1 Novak Djokovic starts his campaign. Though his matchup is not an exciting one, many fans will surely be present for the Serbian’s game. Aligning with him, even top-ranked American Taylor Fritz makes his Indian Wells start, hoping to pull off another winning run.
