Grigor Dimitrov’s run at the 2023 Italian Open ended after his defeat to Novak Djokovic in the round of 32. After his stint at the tournament ended, he reportedly spent his time with the Romanian actress Madalina Ghenea.

Grigor Dimitrov celebrated his 32nd birthday on May 16th. Even after his defeat at the Italian Open, he appeared to be in excellent spirits. He traveled to Rome to try out a few excellent. Interstingly, he was seen enjoying dinner with Romanian actress and model Madalina Ghenea. Madalina Ghenea dated Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio in 2011.They dated for about a year before calling it quits.

Dimitrov posted a snapshot from his dinner date on social media. The photo shows Ghenea writing Dimitrov’s name on the dinner plate. In the post, he tagged the model. What she wrote while posting Dimitrov’s post raised some eyebrows.“Same place, one year later,” Madalina Ghenea wrote.

They have not made anything official, but there are speculations of them being in a relationship. Madalina Ghenea was a part of the 2021 movie ‘House of Gucci.’ She has co-starred with actors like Jared Leto, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, and more. Ghenea also has a daughter, who was born in 2017, with Matei Stratan. Both of them are known to have dated high-profile celebrities in the past. Grigor Dimitrov has previously dated Maria Sharapova and Nicole Scherzinger. Ghenea has been with the likes of Gerard Butler and Michael Fassbender.

Mark Petchey, who is well known to have coached Andy Murray in the past, made an acute analysis of Grigor Dimitrov’s game. Mark Petchey mentioned that Grigor Dimitrov’s hand positioning is not optimal, and he often overcomplicates the serve.

“Going to disagree here. It’s not that you can’t have a fantastic career as Grigor has with a technical issue because he has. However, this is a suboptimal hand position for his serve which contributes to the doubles and lack of slice on deuce and T Ad,” said Mark Petchey.

Mark Petchey mentioned that even though Grigor Dimitrov had a fantastic career, there is a technical issue with his game. His positioning during the service makes it lose its trajectory.
