Carlos Alcaraz is a professional tennis player who hails from Spain. He is currently ranked at no. 5 in singles by ATP which he has achieved after a stunning run to the final in the Hamburg Open. Alcaraz has won five ATP Tour singles titles, including two Masters 1000 titles, and produced his best Grand Slam performances at the 2021 US Open and 2022 French Open by reaching the quarterfinals. Born in Villena, Spain the current world No. t has a 72-24 win-loss record in the ATP tour, Grand slam, and Davis Cup.

The Spaniard played very well in the Hamburg Open, and reached the final but had to finish as a runner-up after losing out to the Italian, Lorenzo Musetti. After the Hamburg Open Final, The 19-year-old has now reached another final at Croatia Open after winning against Giulio Zeppieri in the semi-finals by 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 which made way for Alcarez to get into another final this year where he will meet another phenomenal talent Jannik Sinner.

Alcaraz has already won four titles this year which are Rio Open, Miami Open, Barcelona Open, and Madrid Open, and now he is just one match away from winning the fifth one. Alcaraz began this season at World No. 32 but has quickly risen towards the top of the rankings. Alcaraz is currently tied at most titles with his compatriot Rafael Nadal where both of the Spanish men have won four titles this year.

With the win over Giulio Zeppieri, Alcarez has become the player to win most matches this year as his tally of winning stands at 42 wins and after him, comes the Greek Stefanos tsitsipas who has also won 42 matches this year. Other players in the list are Rafael Nadal (with 35 wins) and Casper Ruud (with 35 wins). He will also climb up one spot in the rankings and reach No.4 after he just became No.5 last week.

The Spanish wonderkid has become the most successful player of this season, winning four titles and displayed great game in other tournaments as well. Hailing from the same nation, many term him the successor of legendary Rafael Nadal. In his young career, Alcaraz has already won five ATP titles.
