In a heartwarming message Simona Halep wrote on her Instagram, she says, “I would like to thank Virginia Ruzici for her endless dedication to me not only as a player but as a close friend. It has been an amazing 14 years of experience together and a true delight to work with her. I will forever value our friendship.”

It was indeed a magnificent partnership between the two Romanians who worked hard to achieve some great things for their country. The two ladies were the only two out of three Romanians to have ever won a grand slam in their careers.
