The Belarusian dominated the match, beating the 26-year-old in straight sets to advance to the fourth round of the tournament. However, apart from the results, another incident is catching the headlines in the match.
It was the second set of the match when Victoria Azarenka hit an ace. However, Jelena Ostapenko thought it was out of the question. Moreover, she even signaled to the linesman, showing the distance by which the ball was out.
This caused a flurry of laughs among the commentary team and the crowd. Even after the release of the video on Twitter, fans have made sarcastic comments regarding it.

Ostapenko has always been lashed out at for her on-court behavior, either during the match or after. At times, she has been heavily trolled for this.
After this loss, she is now eliminated from the tournament. Although the tennis professional impressed everyone with impressive performances in the first two matches, it was not enough to beat the likes of Azarenka.
Victoria Azarenka, on the other hand, will face the Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska in the next round.
