Jeremy Chardy to coach ‘struggling’ 24-year-old Ugo Humbert

Ugo Humbert, the 24-year-old French professional who was ranked world number 25 last year, is currently struggling to find his form, fans suggest that Humbert has just lost his confidence, and to regain that confidence is a sure-shot way for the Frenchman to make a comeback and get back to the top.

Currently ranked number 152nd in the world, Humbert is way too far off to get back to where he belongs ,and to help him get back to that level, 35-year-old Jeremy Chardy will be coaching Ugo Humbert until the end of the season, Humbert’s final goal of the season would be to qualify for the US Open and that is something Chardy can help him do.

Ugo Humbert is looking to find his rhythm again as he gears up to play at the VanOpen which is scheduled to commence on the 14th of August and will end on the 20th of August, Humbert currently is competing at the Open Castilla y León where he has made his way to the quarter-finals of the tournament after defeating Daniel Masur from Germany in the round of 16.

His new coach, Jeremy Chardy had a knee injury which he had surgery done upon, he expects to make his comeback in 2023 and the 35-year-old Frenchman says that he will retire on his own terms and not let injuries define it. Chardy will be a good pick for Humbert who has lost his confidence in recent times.

Chardy will be looking to take Humbert back into the top 100 in the world, where the Frenchman rightfully belongs. the final goal for Humbert this season would be to qualify for the main draw of the US Open which is the final major tournament of the season and will commence next month on the 29th of August and will end on the 11th of September.

Currently ranked 152nd in the world, Humbert and Chardy will be working together in the coming months to improve on the world rankings and at least give a go at breaking the top 100 once again.
