American tennis star Jessica Pegula is on course yet again for the showdown at the helm of women’s tennis. This is a competition that every single tennis star dreams of competing in at the end of every season but Pegula on the other hand is one among the very few to have participated in both the doubles and the singles sections.

But despite that, she doesn’t have the best of records in the competition. Last year she entered the competition as the third seed in the singles section but failed to register a single win in the group stage round. In the doubles section, she paired up with her goto partner, Coco Gauff, and yet again failed having lost all of their three group stage matches summing up a disastrous campaign.

Hopefully win more matches. I didn't do that great last year so hopefully this year I can at least get a win in singles or doubles. And that will be better so fingers crossed.
