John McEnroe went furious as he asked Travis Scott to show some respect to his name and stated that it was his shoe they were working on after all.

Tennis legend John McEnroe is one of the most respected figures in the tennis industry. The seven-time Grand Slam title winner is seen mostly presenting his impressive commentary ability at different tournaments.
However, considering the fame and reputation of the American, he has been associated with various brand events, and recently it was revealed that he would be collaborating with Nike for a special shoe release.
He is all set to partner with rapper Travis Scott for the collaboration, and recently, a video of them discussing their collab went viral. McEnroe was seen getting furious at Scott for his choice of shoe name.
Scott proposed that the name would be ‘Cactus Jack’ which John disapproved of instantly. McEnroe wanted to keep the name ‘Cactus Mac’, but Scott didn’t approve of the choice of name.
McEnroe went furious as he ordered the singer to show some respect to his name and stated that it was his shoe they were working on after all.

Right after that, McEnroe left the Zoom call abruptly, with the clip of the meeting going wild on Twitter, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.
John McEnroe’s partnership with Nike
John McEnroe was easily one of the most talked-about tennis stars during his playing days. He was endorsed by one of the leading brands in the field of sports, Nike.
Generally, people would expect signature shoes in the field of basketball, but John McEnroe’s Mac Attack was the ray of light for all the signature shoes in the sports industry.
McEnroe wore the Mac Attack in the late 80s, and the shoes had a lone gray, black, and white colorway. After almost 39 years since its birth, Nike decided to bring the shoe back one more time, providing a perfect tribute to the tennis legend.
John also wore the new version of the Mac Attacks back at Roland Garros this year.
