The ATP Rankings have changed after a week of tennis, with Alcaraz debuting at No. 4, Djokovic rising to No. 6, and Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud falling. Daniil Medvedev, the current world leader, will return to active service this week. The Russian started a new week as the top-ranked person in the entire globe. Although the gap between him and Zverev is closing, the German is still recovering from an ankle injury and is therefore not a threat right now. Alcaraz has moved up to number 4, passing Nadal, who is currently ranked third.

Carlos Alcaraz is the biggest newsmaker of the week. It has been an incredible season for the youngster so far, and he has achieved yet another milestone. He’s also the eighth youngest player ever to be ranked in the top five. On Sunday in Gstaad, Casper Ruud successfully defended his Swiss Open title, but he dropped in the rankings.

The remaining top 10 stay the same as last week, with Novak Djokovic, a 21-time Grand Slam champion, remaining at No. 7 without changing positions. The final three positions in the top 10 are Andrey Rublev (No. 8), Felix Auger-Aliassime (No. 9), and Jannik Sinner (No. 10). Taylor Fritz has dropped one spot to No. 13 in this week’s ATP rankings.

Lorenzo Musetti is the biggest mover in the ATP rankings this week. The Italian played some of his best tennis to win his first career title in Hamburg after a somewhat dismal season. In the championship match, the 20-year-old Italian defeated Carlos Alcaraz in three sets. He has now moved up 31 ranks, from No. 62 to No. 31, setting a new career high.
