“Let’s go to a nightclub and go nuts,” Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios flaunt their bromance in latest social media banter

Top seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia will be fighting for his 21st singles Grand Slam title, whereas Nick Kyrgios of Australia will be aiming for his first-ever singles major title at the final of Wimbledon Championship 2022. It will be an exciting match as both the players are alike in nature when it comes to drama on the court. The final will see either the Serb winning his 7th Wimbledon singles title or history being created if the Aussie winning his first-ever title.
Nick Kyrgios had a walkover to his final after Rafael Nadal announced his decision to withdraw from the semi-finals. Djokovic defeated Cameron Norrie in a thriller match where he was down by a set but bounced back in the next three sets to win the match and book a place in the finals.
Djokovic has the experience whereas Kyrgios has the firepower and the benefit of extra days off to prepare himself for the big day. This is the third time Kyrgios will be facing Djokovic with Kyrgios leading the head-to-head 2-0.

Kyrgios came in support of the Serbian when he had to face a difficult time during the Australian Open 2022. Kyrgios, in one of the post-match press conference, spoke about his friendly relationship with Djokovic. He said “We definitely have a bit of a bromance now, which is weird. I think everyone knows there was no love lost for a while there. I think it was healthy for the sport.“
Djokovic had sent a DM to Kyrgios‘ wishing him good luck for the final match “Hope to see you on Sunday“. He later, appreciated the support Nick showed at him stating that “It took him 5 years to say something good about me. Thanks for your support. I appreciate it“. Prior to the big day match, Nick shared a story on his Instagram “Are we friends now, Novak“. The Serbian replied, by inviting the Aussie to drinks or dinner while the winner paying the bill. The Aussie replied, “Let’s go to a party and go nuts“.
The off-court camaraderie is surely going to make the finals more exciting and will have a lot of fireworks during the match.
