Czech tennis player Linda Noskova was in a fix when she was asked about the greatest moment of her career so far.
The Czech was given two choices to pick from a singles win over Iga Swiatek at the 2024 Australian Open and a doubles win over Serena Williams and Venus Williams at the 2022 US Open. The 19-year-old gave it some thought before coming up with an answer.

Linda Noskova, being a Serena Williams fangirl, quite obviously picked her doubles win against the Williams sisters as her greatest moment, while she kept the win over Iga Swiatek in the second position. Noskova went on to say that nothing will top her win over the Williams sisters.
I think that singles and doubles are two different sports, first of all. But at the same time, I think that the US Open Serena and Venus doubles were more of, like, an experience, like a memory, and this was actually, like, the match that I did on my own, you know. I think that the match with Iga is probably still second. So yeah, I don't think that anything will probably ever top the doubles.Linda Noskova said.

As Noskova’s fourth-round opponent Elina Svitolina retired due to injury, the 19-year-old advanced to the quarterfinals.
This is Noskova’s maiden Grand Slam quarterfinal qualification. Before this, the Czech managed to go as far as the second round at a Grand Slam tournament. At the Australian Open, this is Noskova’s maiden appearance and now she is in the quarterfinals.
An ardent Serena Williams fan, Linda Noskova is happy to make it to the quarters. However, she is also disappointed about not getting a chance to play the full match against Svitloina.
When I was younger, I didn’t really watch tennis as much as my parents or people that were around it a little more. But I think when I got into it, I was a big fan of Serena. I always am and always probably will be. I like her style a lot and the way she carries herself and the person that she is. She’s definitely on top of my charts.Linda Noskova said about her admiration for Serenna Williams. (H/T: The Print)
I’d actually say Elina might have been one of them as well. I like her style a lot. She can change the direction or rhythm of the game really well, so I was always really appreciated of such a player that can go on the net or can do slice. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to know each other on court. Maybe next time when we play each other.Noskova said of Svitloina.
The Czech youngster will next face Dayana Yastremska in the quarterfinals. Both players will be playing their maiden Grand Slam quarterfinal.
