The Wimbledon 2022 will be the third Grand Slam of the season which will kick-off on the 27th of June, 2022 with the Grand Slam being scheduled at the historic All-England Club as always. This year’s major will be the 135th in the men’s and 128th in the women’s edition with the overall edition being the 54th in the Open Era.

World No. 3 Novak Djokovic will be the defending champion at this year’s edition with the Serbian getting the top seed as well in the absence of World No. 1 Daniil Medvedev and World No. 2 Alexander Zverev. On the women’s side, with the retirement of Ash Barty, she won’t be defending her title and the top seed will be taken by current World No. 1 Iga Swiatek who comes fresh from winning the 2022 French Open.
