Marta Kostyuk, the Ukrainian tennis player, recently shared her thoughts on the leading women on Tour and how she believes that the heavy 2024 scheduling may impact their form.ย
Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, and Elena Rybakina are a few of the players named by the Ukrainian, as she considers them the three women to beat in 2024.ย

Over the last couple of years, these three women have dominated on Tour with their respective Grand Slam victories. Until recently, these three women were on top of the table, with the Pole at World No. 1, Sabalenka at No. 2, and Rybakina at No. 3. Kostyuk rightfully chose the three women as her competitors for the year.ย
For me, it stays the same. Iga, Aryna, & Rybakina. I think theyโre the most consistent anyway. Of course, everyone gets tired, itโs a very difficult calendarโฆ especially this year with the Olympics. But I think if theyโre fresh, I think these 3โฆ but theyโre not fresh every week.. so thatโs the key.Said Kostyuk to the San Diego Press.
She is currently on the winning side at the San Diego Open, as she awaits her quarter-final opponent.ย
