Russian tennis teen prodigy Mirra Andreeva is grabbing eyeballs with her performances. The 16-year-old most recently won the World Tennis League for Team Eagles in Abu Dhabi. Coming in as a replacement for Belinda Bencic, Andreeva snatched a few emphatic wins across the singles and doubles categories and eventually ended on the winning side.

However, it was not easy for the Russian but she managed to keep her calm as Andreeva drew inspiration from Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. The Russian said that when they (Andreeva and Sofia Kenin) were trailing against Paula Badosa and Aryna Sabalenka, she reminded herself that even Federer and Nadal would lose a few points in the matches they eventually won.

The game turned on its head from thereon as Andreeva and Kennin won five games on the trot to win the set 7-5. The pair won the game and helped their team lift the trophy. After the game, Andreeva spoke about her rush of emotions.
