The crowd was gathered at the Rod Laver Arena to witness World No. 6 Ons Jabeur and a young Mirra Andreeva lock horns in the second round of the Australian Slam.

The numbers showed that it should have been the experienced Tunisian who would move on to the next round. However, Andreeva proved them all wrong by leaving the 29-year-old player in awe.

The Russian will now face France’s Diane Parry in the third round of the Grand Slam. It will indeed be a tight match between the two. However, considering Andreeva’s form, the game is slightly inclined toward the Russian.
