Naomi Osaka beats Serena Williams at the top of most marketable female athletes list, Emma Raducanu hits podium
Seven names from the tennis world make up the top ten of the most marketable female athletes list of 2022 recently released by Sportico. In fact, Naomi Osaka tops the list by raking a moolah of $53.2 million this year alone, while Serena Williams, Emma Raducanu, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Ashleigh Barty and Leylah Fernandez are other tennis entries among the notable mentions.
However, only two out of these women are part of the overall top 100 marketable athletes list, male or female. These are Osaka and Serena. Serena continues to rake up the moolah through some of her continuing endorsement deals despite having recently retired from the sport at the 2022 US Open.
The other three women, apart from those from the tennis world, in the top ten list are skier Eileen Gu, gymnast Simone Biles and golfer Jin Young Ko.
