Four-time Grand Slam singles champion Naomi Osaka is enjoying her time away from the sport, as is evident from the post she shared on Instagram. The former World No. 1 shared photos of her wearing a Louis Vuitton tracksuit while spending some alone time on the beach. The post led to some social media users speculating about her relationship with her boyfriend, Cordae.

Earlier, the 26-year-old shared a cryptic post on the social media site ‘X’ that brought their relationship to light. Taking to X, Naomi wished to see the sunset with someone, leading fans to wonder if the couple had broken up.

Earlier this year, the former World No. 1 announced her pregnancy to the tennis world, citing it as a reason for not participating in the 2023 Australian Open. In July, her long-time boyfriend Cordae announced in one of his shows that the couple had been blessed with a girl. They named their daughter Shai.

However, she announced that she would make a comeback at the Australian Open in 2024. The Japanese pro has struggled with mental health issues since her triumph in Melbourne in 2021. Shortly before the start of the 2021 French Open, she announced that she would not conduct her mandatory media assignments.

Naomi Osaka receives praise from Judy Murray for speaking up on issues

Andy Murray’s mother and tennis coach Judy Murray showered praise on women’s tennis stars, including 4-time Grand Slam singles champion Naomi Osaka and reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff, for not shying away from speaking on the burning issues of the day. In a round-table discussion, Judy advocated for more players to speak up in order to ensure equality in the sport.

Praising the two tennis stars, Judy remarked,

If I look at Coco and Naomi Osaka, they’re both young women who’ve spoken out and used their voices really well, whether it’s Black Lives Matter, whether it’s mental health, pressures of being in the public eye, and so forth.

Speaking on the necessity of players sharing their thoughts, Judy asserted that there would be no change if no one talked about it.
