Naomi Osaka‘s puzzling tweet has made her fans question the status of her relationship with Cordae. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Naomi wished to see the sunset with someone, and fans are wondering if the couple has broken up.
Earlier this year, the former World No. 1 announced her pregnancy to the tennis world, citing it as a reason for not participating in the 2023 Australian Open. In July, her long-time boyfriend Cordae announced in one of his shows that the couple was blessed with a girl. They named their daughter Shai.
Although the relationship of the couple has been very secretive, Cordae, who is a rapper by profession, has often attended some of Osaka’s matches. Osaka announced her return a few months back. Her name has been entered into the official list of the 2024 United Cup.
Fans can expect to see Osaka at the 2024 Australian Open. The Japanese has 4 Grand Slam titles under her name. She has also been very vocal about mental health in sports. She is often considered the flag-bearer of this conversation. But her recent activity has made fans question.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote, “I just want someone that will watch the sunset with me.” At one glance, nothing seems wrong and cryptic about this tweet. But Osaka’s ardent fans believe that its a coded message, announcing her breakup.

It should be noted that neither Osaka nor Cordae have openly admitted to a breakup. These are just fans’ assumptions. Such rumors have always surrounded celebrities. In a similar way, few weeks back, the fans assumed that tennis couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have broken up. But it all turned out to be a misunderstanding. Nothing can be said until the couple themselves announce something.
