The 26-year-old Japanese had said that seeing the number of tournaments on the tour gone up, she is expecting to end the year on a high. However, the four-time Grand Slam winner had also emphasized the fact that she will take her time to get into rhythm.

I think it's because I realized that I don't know how the beginning of the year is going to go for me. I don't know the level of play and I think I have to ease into it. So at the very least, I'll set myself up for a very good end of the year.
Naomi Osaka had said to ESPN.

Naomi Osaka has a fabulous record on the tour. She has won 265 matches on the tour while ending up on the wrong side of the result only 148 times. She has four Grand Slam titles- two US Open titles and two Australian Open titles to her credit.

Now, as the Japanese plans to return next season, it will be interesting to see how many more titles she can fetch considering the competition has become fierce with the likes of Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and Aryna Sabalenka dominating the tour.
