Naomi Osaka, the Japanese pro, has been unable to make her presence felt on her return to the WTA tour. She recently concluded her time at the Qatar Open after achieving her best run so far. Showing improvement from the previous tournaments, the Japanese star looks to make it further in the upcoming tournaments.
Dedicating a whole Instagram post to her time in Doha, Osaka slayed in her red dress. As expected, the post instantly went viral, eliciting a plethora of reactions online. Dressed up in a full red dress, she wore matching lipstick and topped it off with a black jacket that went with her shoes.

A few of those posts were dedicated to showing off her accessories and the dress. Some might even say that Osaka took a page from Taylor Swift’s ‘Red’ Notebook, as the pop star has a whole song dedicated to the color. Also, Swift slays her iconic red lipstick, which was the highlight of Osaka’s post.
Along with the pictures, Osaka had dedicated a slide to pen down a small note of thanks for her stay in Doha.
Doha you are absolutely one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever been to. It’s been an absolute pleasure playing here, thank you for all the support. Love you and I’ll see you next year.Tweeted Osaka on Instagram.
Despite not playing her best tennis, Osaka has played better than in her previous tournaments and only looks to move forward henceforth.
Naomi Osaka reached her first quarterfinals in nearly two years after a lucky run at the Qatar Open
Naomi Osaka, the Japanese star, continues to find form in 2024 as she makes a return to tennis after quite a long break.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has had two disappointing runs at the Australian Open and the Abu Dhabi Open respectively. However, the third time’s the charm for the 26-year-old, who outdid her previous performances at the Qatar Open.
Not only did Osaka win a couple of rounds, but she also went to the quarterfinals in Doha. Luck might have played its part, as Osaka got a walkover against Lesia Tsurenko, giving her a straight entry into her first quarterfinals in two years.
Unfortunately, the 2-time Australian Open winner failed to make the most of this opportunity and lost to Karolina Pliskova in the quarterfinals. Osaka might have lost in straight sets, but she gave a good fight for every point, taking both sets to a tie-breaker. As she prepares for her next tournaments, fans await to see a more improved Osaka next time.
